WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!

The Meeting

Jared and Madison first met at Lakeshore Catholic's Grade 8 Orientation night when their parents; Mike Sneek and Sheri House bumped into each other and began to reminisce about their high school days.

Madi and Jared didn't start to become friends until two years later when they were both training to become lifeguards and took the same National Lifeguarding course.

They wouldn't start dating until nearly a year later in April 2017, however they have been inseparable since.

The Proposal

Planning a surprise proposal for somebody who knows you so well poses a set of unique challenges.

Jared and Madison were playing one of their favourite games (an escape room called EXIT) where Jared had hidden the ring in a secret compartment within the box.  During the game, Jared prompted Madison to look into the hiding place however, Madison did not see the ring.  Jared had to convince her to look into the compartment again (this took much convincing).  Finally, very confused, she did and found the ring.  Jared got down on one knee, and Madison said yes!
